The study and teaching of physics at Chernomorsky Lyceum
Physics course is not an insur mountable of a mountain if you know rules of physics.Considering such a physical game, there are rules in the game. If you know the rules of the game, you enjoy playing the game. Therefore, we need first to learn and to apply the rules. You can’t fully enjoy this game unless you know its rules. Whether it’s a ball game, a computer game, or a party game. It can be boring if you don’t the rules. You miss out on what others enjoy. Just as a musician hears what untrained ears can’t, and just as a cook tastes in food what others miss, a person who knows nature’s rules can better appreciate nature. Learning that satellites follow the same rules as tossed baseballs changes the way you see orbitting astronauts on TV. Learning the rules of light changes the way you see blue skies, white clouds, and rainbows.
Richness in life is not only seeing the world with wide open eyes, but knowing what to look for. We are teaching by looking at some nature’s rules in physics. We treat physics conceptually in bilingual languages with two teachers at Chernomorsky Lyceum.We are teaching physics which are in English and in Russian that they are parellal in order to we have 26 physics lessons in a week , besides 13 physics lessons are in english and 13 physics lessons are in Russian. Therefore students improve their english words. They are learning terms of physics bilingual education in our schools. Physics teachers do experiment , exams and quizes together.
